gap-dev software package provides GAP computer algebra system, compiler and development files, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gap-dev
gap-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gap-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gap-dev *
You will get with gap-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
